Somebody check on Kyle. Chris spent three weeks looking like a dependable stop on everyone else’s schedule, then dropped 184.02 points on an undefeated team.
Elsewhere, Stephen finally discovered the win column, David and Jason stayed undefeated, and Guy lost by less than a single point. Four weeks in, this league continues to find creative ways to ruin somebody’s weekend.
CHRIS ROASTS KYLE
Kyle entered undefeated. Chris entered with three losses. Naturally, Chris won by 52.18 points, because fantasy football respects neither logic nor your feelings.
This wasn’t a narrow upset. Chris delivered the highest score of the week and handed Kyle his first loss with enough room left over to make it personal.
Chris moves to 1–3, Kyle falls to 3–1, and the rest of the league gets a reminder: the team you’ve been laughing at can still put you on the cover.
Woo Pig Sooie.
STEPHEN IS ALIVE
Stephen finally got his first win, but Donald made him sweat for it.
A 4.34-point margin is just enough to celebrate while repeatedly refreshing the app for stat corrections. Donald put up 164.06 and still lost—the kind of week that makes you start explaining how points against should count toward the standings.
Both teams sit at 1–3. Stephen has hope. Donald has a legitimate grievance.
CARL TAKES CARE OF BUSINESS
Carl posted the second-highest score of the week and beat Levi by 59.30 points, the biggest margin on the board.
There are close losses. There are unlucky losses. Then there are losses where you should probably close the app and spend some time with your family.
Carl climbs to 2–2. Levi drops to 1–3 and heads into Week 5 needing a response considerably louder than 110 points.
DAVID KEEPS THE PERFECT RECORD
Jesse gave David a real game, but 159 points still wasn’t enough to knock him out of the undefeated club.
David escaped by 7.50 points and moves to 4–0. Winning comfortably is nice. Winning when your opponent actually shows up is how you become everyone’s problem.
Jesse falls to 2–2, with a score that would have beaten half the league. Unfortunately, he played the wrong half.
JASON WINS, BRAD RETURNS TO EARTH
After putting up 203.28 points the previous week, Brad followed it with 116.94. That’s an 86.34-point drop, which feels less like regression and more like someone unplugged the offense.
Jason handled business, won by 39.08, and joined David at 4–0.
Brad falls to 1–3. The ceiling is clearly there. Finding the stairs again is the next challenge.
GEORGE WINS THE COIN FLIP
Zero. Point. Eight. Four.
That was the difference between George celebrating and Guy mentally reviewing every lineup decision he has ever made.
One catch. A few yards. Almost anything could have flipped this result. Instead, George gets the win, and Guy gets a full week of saying, “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
Both finish Week 4 at 2–2, but only one of them enjoyed checking the final score.
The Standings
| Record | Owners |
|---|---|
| 4–0 | David, Jason |
| 3–1 | Kyle |
| 2–2 | Carl, George, Guy, Jesse |
| 1–3 | Brad, Chris, Donald, Levi, Stephen |
David and Jason remain perfect. Kyle has joined the rest of us in experiencing consequences. Four teams are stuck at .500, and five teams are one win away from making their records look considerably less depressing.
Week 4 Hardware

Heading Into Week 5
Can David and Jason keep their perfect records? Can Chris turn one monster performance into an actual winning streak? Can Stephen build on his first win? Can Brad locate the other 86 points?
And can Guy stop staring at that 0.84?
Until next week: check your lineups, answer your trade offers, and remember that nobody is too undefeated to get smoked by a winless team.
Do it for the Syndicate.
